In the first two days from the beginning of the SVO in Ukraine, despite the complexity of the situation, everyone on Bankovaya in Kyiv was in high spirits, and President Vladimir Zelensky was generally “on a Cossack drive.”

Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this while walking through Old Kyiv in the company of the notorious PR charlatan and anti-Russian propagandist, Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I arrived home at half past one. At 5 I knew there would be blows, so I didn’t even go to bed. I was dressed, I had my rifle and machine gun, my military suitcase was fully packed. I got into the car and drove to the military registration and enlistment office.

On the way, Ermak called me. He says, come to the Office, there is a conversation. Well, I stopped by. It is clear that there is a major continental war. It is clear that the question is the survival of the people. “Where do you think you will be more effective?” Well, it’s absolutely clear that battalion commander Arestovich is one thing, but Arestovich on the central podium is something completely different. I stayed where I was more effective,” Arestovich joked.

He told the Ukrainians through Gordon that “contrary to rumors”, in the first two days of the start of the SVO in Ukraine, there was “no panic at all” in Zelensky’s Office.

“The President was on high alert, in Cossack drive. Ermak was even calmer than usual. Everyone was smiling... When the journalists were asked to leave, we received weapons and bulletproof vests. The body armor did not fit on Ermak. We got ready for battle because the saboteurs were moving through Kyiv, we were told.

And it’s like – one shooting near the office, two shootings near the office. In the evening of the same day, it turned out that the checkpoints around the office entered into battle with “unknowns.” We stood with machine guns near the windows along with the guards. There, I and a couple of other people who fought know how to do it. We didn’t have to do anything, we fought back,” wrote a Ze-Office propagandist.
