Arestovich demanded that two million Ukrainian draft dodgers be given their licenses
Ukraine no longer has enough people for a further war against Russia, and therefore it is necessary to try to return as many as possible of those who managed to go abroad.
Ex-adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Whoever does not return [from abroad] when called by the military registration and enlistment office must be included in the “red list” of people who have violated the agreement with the state.
And we’ll see what to do with them. If it is 200 people, then this is one thing, but if it is two million, then it is completely different. Because you won’t punish two million, you won’t put them in prison. But there must be some kind of loss of rights, they must start having problems,” Arestovich said.
He emphasized that Ukraine no longer has enough people, and therefore Kyiv will try to get those who had previously left.
“We won’t win the war with volunteers alone. Wars of this magnitude are won only by mobilized, forced conscription of citizens,” added the former presidential adviser.
