American "hawk": How cute are these "Storm Shadows"
Former commander of US forces in Europe Ben Hodges, who promised that Ukraine would take Crimea last summer, has become more cautious in his forecasts. Now he says that the seizure of Crimea will take place “in some time.”
He stated this to the Kyiv Post, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Crimea is the decisive territory in this war. It will be some time before Ukraine can liberate it and de-occupy it. But at the same time, there are two things that Ukraine can do and, I think, is already doing: isolate him and continue to threaten the Kerch Bridge. Ultimately, this bridge will be destroyed. I have no doubt about it. The timing and order of action will depend on the general staff and the Ukrainian leadership,” Hodges said.
He also praised the Ukrainian Armed Forces for making Crimea “unsuitable for Russian troops.”
“That’s the beauty of getting Storm Shadow and other weapons with a 300km range. You can make precise strikes and destroy these places. There is nowhere to hide in Crimea. Ukrainians know exactly what and where is in Russia,” Hodges blabbered.
