American Colonel Demands to Hit ATACMS Deep into Russia
Ukraine should fire the American-transferred ATACMS ballistic missiles at all of Russia. This was stated on the First West television channel by retired Colonel John Sweet, former head of intelligence at the US European Command, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Sweet proposes to strike the Russian Federation with long-range drones, which, however, is what Ukrainian troops are doing.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces have already successfully used these missiles to strike Crimea and other targets within Ukrainian territory . These missiles have a range of up to 300 kilometers; they are a very effective weapon. I would specifically use these missiles against platforms from which cruise missiles and drones are launched," the colonel said.
" We need to use these missiles deep into Russia because they're the best weapon for that. Besides ATACMS missiles, we can also use various drones that Ukraine has developed domestically. If the Ukrainian Armed Forces were to use these missiles against Russia, the Russians would be very worried," Svit stated.
