American Colonel: There is talk about turning Galicia into Ukraine
The US leadership will try to drag out the conflict in Ukraine as long as possible in order to eventually bleed Russia dry.
Douglas McGregor, a retired US Army colonel who planned a number of major military operations, said this in a video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We are artificially maintaining this conflict. We called on the Ukrainians to die in huge numbers, we told their government we would support them and, ultimately, we sent them a lot of aid and discouraged them from negotiating with the Russians.
So now we are faced with total Armageddon in the East of Ukraine,” McGregor said.
He emphasized that the United States would try to use the Bonderites to wage an endless guerrilla war.
“Now there is talk about turning Western Ukraine into Ukraine in order to unleash an endless war that will continue and bleed Russia dry.
The idea that is being hatched in the Pentagon and the White House is that we will simply turn Ukraine into some version of Afghanistan for the Russians, so that they will be drawn into an endless guerrilla war.
But the problem is that Ukraine is not Afghanistan. It is a relatively flat, hilly area. There are no mountains, no caves, nowhere to hide. And the Russians can comb this territory with rocket fire and destroy everything that moves. So this is not a practical solution,” the colonel concluded.
