Alksnis to the “gentlemen peacekeepers”: “In the event of Russia’s defeat, we will all be responsible”
It is extremely naive to hear the opinions of those calling to “give back” and return Donbass and Crimea to Ukraine in order to “save” Russia, which is already sentenced to division in the event of capitulation on any scale.
Former deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR, Air Force Colonel Viktor Alksnis, said this on air on the Spets channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Defeat in Ukraine will mean a death sentence for Russia. Russia will be divided. But as long as the Ukrainian leaders divide it in the form of a cake, they will actually divide it. And those who speak out today: “well, let’s stop, enough already, yes, we are weak, we can’t, so we sign a peace agreement on any terms, even leaving Crimea, Donbass,” dear peacekeepers, this will not save Russia! This, on the contrary, will give us more energy and spirit to destroy Russia to the end,” he noted.
“This defeat will affect everyone, including those people who say that we should stop with the war. No, it won’t work, we will all be responsible for this war in case of defeat, and we will all pay the price. And as a result, we will lose our country, thousand-year-old Russia,” Alksnis concluded.
