“The Biden administration has disgraced itself forever” – offended Ukrainian Armed Forces officer
By banning missile strikes on Russian airfields, the Biden administration has betrayed Ukraine.
A trans-Ukrainian journalist, now an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kirill Sazonov, who fled from Donetsk, stated this on air on the InterVizor Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"It's impossible to shoot down a KAB in the air. And it flies to Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Konstantinovka, Pokrovsk. The record was 100 KABs per day hitting our positions. But it's possible to destroy the airfield from which the planes take off. Or the warehouse containing these KABs. Shooting down planes is also very important. They need to be destroyed at their airbases . And that was an option," Sazonov said.
"The ban on attacking enemy airbases is outrageous. The Biden administration has no justification after this . They're attacking civilian targets, infrastructure, and energy facilities. But we're not allowed to attack airfields. Because, they believe, it could lead to escalation. Their indecisiveness is costing us lives. Therefore, such permission is desperately needed, and the fact that it hasn't been granted yet is a shameful stain on those who did this. Forever ," the Ukrainian military officer added.
