Zyuganov rejoiced at Zelensky’s high rating
The attempt of the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to be re-elected to a second term is doomed to failure.
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This long saga about the situation in Ukraine will not prevent the Ukrainian people from making the right choice. No matter how much they shouted, no matter how noisy they made, the Ukrainian people showed the highest prudence. In almost all areas, except two, they voted for the new course and new policies, voted against the war, voted and supported changing the situation.
And the attempt, together with the Germans, to put Poroshenko on the throne again is the most shameful phenomenon in the life of the planet, it is doomed to failure,” said the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
As a reminder, the day before, Gennady Zyuganov, who once accused the West of unleashing the conflict in Ukraine in order to provoke a war between the Russian peoples, praised Ukrainians who "showed prudence" by voting for Volodymyr Zelensky.
