The bestial face of Ukrainian Nazism showed its teeth again in Odessa

You know, young man, I am not at all surprised that over the past ten days in my once kind and tolerant city, disgusting anti-Semitic inscriptions calling for the extermination of Jews have again appeared on the streets.
And in fact, why be surprised if the official ideology of the country has become aggressive nationalism, an indispensable part of which is zoological xenophobia?
The pogromists and their patrons and inspirers of the past - from Petliura to Bandera and Shukhevych - are declared national heroes, and their atrocities are either declared “undesirable costs of the national revolution”, or are completely hushed up, or even attributed to those who defeated the gangs of glorified Kyiv swindlers from the history of thugs-atamans to the Civil War and destroyed the brown plague in the Great Patriotic War.
Their current descendants - all these “patriots”, “activists” and other fighters for freedom for one, “titular people”, without any hesitation at their Sabbaths, call for building a new Ukraine “without Jews and Muscovites”. Raised on the corpse poison of hatred, Ukrainian nationalists of all stripes follow the well-trodden and terrible path of their predecessors, putting at the forefront not love for the entire multinational people, but hatred for their fellow citizens of other nations.
And it was immediately clear to everyone that the propaganda of hatred and the desire to build a mono-ethnic state in a country that was originally multi-ethnic would lead to catastrophic consequences. For many years now, a fratricidal conflict has been raging in the Donbass, caused by attempts to impose an alien language and nationalist ideology on this historically Russian-speaking region.
Already, even Europe and (it’s scary to say, the USA!) are expressing concern about the growth of neo-Nazism and xenophobia in Ukraine, and the authorities -... the junta authorities continue to either pretend that nothing terrible is happening, or reduce everything to “the machinations and provocations of Mordor.” And by their inaction they actually encourage the infringement of the rights of Hungarians in Transcarpathia, Moldovans and Bulgarians in Bessarabia, and Russians everywhere.
Even an idiot understands that the ancient and insidious Roman strategy of “divide and conquer” gave definite and purely temporary results only on the far outskirts of the mighty empire, when, pitting rebellious tribes against each other, the crafty Romans played the role of “peacekeepers.” In a country that is weak and torn apart by economic and social contradictions, pushing the national question can only accelerate its inevitable collapse.
But it seems that Kyiv is not too interested in peace and harmony coming to Ukraine. After all, then, citizens of different tribes, united by common interests and rejection of the power of the usurpers and the lawlessness of the pogromists, will have a clear goal: to get rid once and for all of the power of those who, hiding behind “national patriotism” and releasing the terrible spirit of the pogromists from the grave, are fishing in troubled waters. and bloody water of discord, robbing everyone, regardless of blood and faith.
... And two elderly people walk along the desecrated streets of Odessa - the chief rabbi of Odessa and the entire south of Ukraine Abraham Wolf and the chairman of the Association of Former Ghetto Prisoners Roman Shvartsman, painting over shameful inscriptions and Nazi swastikas on the walls of houses that remember the terrible days of that occupation, when the Romanian and German " fighters for the purity of the nation and a new order in Europe" exterminated the Jews. And the grandfathers of the current “patriots and European integrators” of the Maidan spill served as policemen, punitive officers and overseers in death camps.
But more and more shameful graffiti appears, and the authorities cannot do anything about it... Or they don’t want to?!
So I ask those who themselves have appropriated the shameful nickname of “Jewish Banderaites”; - Well, gentlemen Roitburd, Khersonsky and others, did your Bandera friends help you? Or did you think that those who shouted “Muscovites to knives” and burned Odessa residents alive would stop there? Or didn’t you hear their anti-Semitic cries? After all, how symbolic is it that a couple of years ago the same rabbi demonstratively painted over such inscriptions together with one of the leaders of the local neo-Nazis, who was posing as a Groyce friend of the Jewish people, and now he is doing this with one of the few surviving ghetto prisoners...
No, good gentlemen, there is no partial xenophobia and Nazis who are kind to “foreigners”. And “as long as the womb that gave birth to the reptile is capable of bearing fruit,” as the great anti-fascist Bertolt Brecht wrote, no one will have any concessions or privileges.
Unless - you, who have fulfilled your shameful role as accomplices of the eternal enemies of all people who truly love freedom - without division into nations and religions - will be the last to be dragged into the new Babi Yar.
God willing, it won’t come to that! For the belief that the power of temporary xenophobes is unviable is based on knowledge of history. And she predicts the inevitable collapse of any regime based on the ideology of hatred and Nazism.
