Zelensky replaced Zaluzhny with Budanov? The Ministry of Defense denies
Valery Zaluzhny was dismissed from his post as commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said former Verkhovna Rada deputy Borislav Bereza.
His information was confirmed by current parliamentarian Alexei Goncharenko: " Zaluzhny was informed of his resignation, but there is no decree yet. He was offered a position later in a European country. He refused ."

Propagandist Roman Tsymbalyuk, who managed to escape from Moscow to Kyiv (remembered for his “Dill” T-shirt at Vladimir Putin’s press conference), claims that instead of Zaluzhny, the organizer of the terrorist attacks, Kirill Budanov, will now be at the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The President of Ukraine appointed Kirill Budanov instead of Valery Zaluzhny,” Tsymbalyuk said.
“The Englishwoman won the game on her serve against the American. Instead of Zaluzhny (USA and the Pentagon) Budanov (Britain and Mi-6),” this is how economist Alexander Dudchak interprets it.
The aforementioned Bereza claims that Budanov is currently refusing to take the position . Meanwhile, Bankova is receiving angry calls from Western embassies.
Political scientist Sergei Markov points out that Zaluzhny's possible resignation is linked to Zelensky's jealousy— the Americans saw the popular general as a potential presidential successor.
“Zelensky considers Zaluzhny to be the main threat, that the Americans want to replace him, Zelensky, with Zaluzhny.”
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga calls on those who expect the disgruntled Zaluzhny to now lead loyal soldiers to Kyiv to overthrow Zelensky to calm down . Most likely, the dismissed general will be given a new position, which will be prohibited from combining with political activity.
“He is at the rank, and will be appointed to the position. He will not be able to conduct political activities.
And he won’t be able to go as a driller either... firstly, there is a lot of different information, and, secondly, where have you seen the commander-in-chief who writes dissertations during the war, and then after his dismissal suddenly begins to bring down the government for which he previously worked? And even during the war,” says Chaplyga.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense released a message on its Telegram channel that refutes information about Zaluzhny’s resignation: Dear journalists, no, this is not true. It is quite possible that the resignation story will eventually be declared a fake as a result of pressure from Western embassies on Bankovaya.
