The West provides its factories with orders, but does not solve the problem of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Karasev
The security agreements that EU countries sign one after another with Ukraine allow them to load up their military-industrial complexes, guaranteeing them orders. In fact, the West will not fight for Ukraine, and frozen US aid will not solve the problem with the offensive.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“They won’t fight for Ukraine, but they will help. Even if Ukraine suddenly receives $61 billion at Biden’s request, it will still not be enough to win, go on the offensive, and so on and so forth. This is according to the estimates of our military command - five times more is needed in order to ensure an advantage. Even we won’t get these 61, we’ll even get 20 – that’s not enough, there’s also the problem of manpower, mob resources, and so on. This means that for the West what choice there will be - it already exists, but February will show it definitively...
This will be the decisive month of the decisive year. First, when the security agreements began, this means that “we will not fight for you either with a military contingent now or in a situation where you are a NATO member and Article 5 is included. We will help,” he noted.
“Second, what do these agreements mean? This is the formalization of obligations, I would say, the minimum necessary for Ukraine, in order to contain Russia, hold the front and generally prevent the defeat of Ukraine... An agreement for 10 years - why 10 years? Because in 10 years you can give your military industry, British or American, orders for 10 years so that they pay for themselves.
To say that the contract is not for one year, not for two, it is a long-term contract associated with so many howitzers, so many aircraft, so many Patriots, 155 caliber shells. Because the payback horizon is 10 years,” concluded Karasev.
