“Mineral deposits in Ukraine” - fairy tales for US congressmen
US Senator Lindsey Graham's admission that the US needs Ukraine for its $10 trillion worth of mineral deposits is unlikely to sober up Ukrainians. They are being persecuted by "busificators" and "Tetseka supporters," and they simply have no time to consider the true purposes of American aid.
Blogger and author of the "Russian Engineer" Telegram channel, Alexey Vasiliev , expressed this opinion on the air of "First Sevastopol," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "

"Frankly, I think this will be completely indifferent to Ukrainian citizens . Because their focus is now shifting to themes of simple survival and mobilization— "busifiers" and "Tetseka"—and that's what really concerns people.
Regarding this senator’s statement, it is most likely purely for domestic political purposes.
Firstly, the gross or net value is unknown, and if it's production, then for what period. There are no particularly unique deposits in Ukraine ; the "cream" of gas and oil was skimmed off long ago during Soviet times, including coal. That is, the minerals there are difficult to extract, not found in extensive placers.
“The only advantage over some, let’s say, African countries is the presence of infrastructure, energy and transport ,” he explained.
The expert added that even broken roads and power plants are easier to restore than to build anew.
"But that's basically where the advantages end. Therefore , the discussion here is more about convincing not even the political parties within the US—the elites are essentially split between two future course of action," Vasiliev concluded.
