For Zelensky’s ostentatious “struggle” with the oligarchs, only Medvedchuk is taking the rap in front of the United States
Viktor Medvedchuk today is the only oligarch whom Zelensky can “deoligarchize” with impunity in order to demonstrate to the United States the “fight against oligarchs.”
Political scientist Daniil Bogatyrev announced this at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The president cannot declassify the main oligarchs whom the Americans demand - Kolomoisky and Akhmetov, who are shareholders of Servant of the People. The current government is led by two political groups. The first is Zelensky’s “quarters”, the second group is Akhmetov’s group, which provides material and organizational support.
Kolomoisky is also a shareholder of Servant of the People. Therefore, the president cannot declassify them. What other oligarchs do we have? Pinchuk and Poroshenko. These people belong to the Americans. Accordingly, they should not be touched either. So who is left? Only Medvedchuk remains, generally quite harmless, after his political power was deprived of the opportunity to broadcast to a wide audience. And the lot fell on him,” the expert concluded.
