Yatsenyuk started an open war between different branches of government - German newspaper
Berlin – Kyiv, February 24 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) – An open power struggle has broken out in Ukraine, according to German Economic News . This conclusion is based on a strong statement by Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who demanded the replacement of key officials in the intelligence service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“In Kyiv, an open struggle for power appears to be beginning between the government and intelligence. Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk called for the replacement of key officials in the intelligence service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He suspects that a criminal organization has been created there, which threatens the work of the government with its machinations. He expects that President Poroshenko will support him in this fight,” the publication writes.
German journalists are confident that this is a sign of an open clash between different branches of government. According to the publication, the demands of a number of Ukrainian deputies to remove the head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva belong to the same category. So, on Monday, a group of Ukrainian deputies demanded that the SBU investigate Gontareva’s activities for treason.
The publication writes: “Yatsenyuk worked before being appointed to his current position as head of the National Bank. The constantly deteriorating economic situation creates significant tension in society.”
