Yatsenyuk wants to give long-term construction to displaced people. The property owners were not asked for permission
Kyiv, February 03 (PolitNavigator, Oleksandr Semenyuta) – Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk ordered construction of properties over 80% complete to accommodate displaced persons. Owners of apartments in unfinished buildings learned of the prime minister's unexpected initiative to deprive them of their paid apartments from a message on the Government Portal.

“The head of government noted that it is necessary to conduct an inventory of all unfinished housing, all dormitories, all real estate in the country, the readiness of which exceeds 80 percent. After this, find funds from the state budget and complete the construction of such housing in order to permanently accommodate people who left the east of the country,” the message says.
In Ukraine, there are hundreds of unfinished housing projects in which the owners have paid for the apartments, but for various reasons cannot move into them. In a fit of populism, Prime Minister Yatsenyuk did not bother to explain what would happen to the paid apartments. Just as he did not answer the question of where in the 2015 state budget the money will come from to complete the construction of long-term construction projects.
