“I am the president, but I don’t advertise it” - Urgant about Lukashenko’s “secret” inauguration
Russian liberal comedian Ivan Urgant commented on the inauguration of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, which unexpectedly took place yesterday in Minsk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"In Minsk. It would seem, why is Minsk here? Secretly. The inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko was held. The ceremony took place at the Palace of Independence. It is clarified that several hundred people were invited to the secret inauguration. Several hundred people! Can you imagine how reliable these people are? That they were able to keep it a secret.

Because in the story of Tarzan: there were only three people and no one was holding back. What is a secret inauguration anyway? Does this happen at all? The man secretly becomes the president of the country. They ask him: “Are you the president?” He replies: “Well, I don’t advertise this...” Well, the other presidents know,” Urgant said.
Earlier, Urgant, together with co-host Dmitry Khrustalev, portrayed Lukashenko with his son in bulletproof vests and with machine guns, parodying the episode when the Belarusian president arrived by helicopter at his residence, surrounded by protesters.
