By advancing from Avdiivka on one side and storming Chasov Yar on the other, the Russian Armed Forces can encircle the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.
Russian war correspondent Dmitry Steishin stated this on air at KP Radio , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Our forces are trying to encircle the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration . On one side, we're advancing from Avdiivka, on the other, we've reached Chasov Yar. And, in principle, the enemy should begin to withdraw from this gut with only one open exit , lest they find themselves completely encircled.
"This intestine is long, it's awkward, it has a very complex configuration, but dividing it into three pockets—that's just the thing. We have the initiative. The plan is clear , it's one and the same: take a map, see where our forces are and which direction they're advancing, and the layout of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, and everything will become clear," the military correspondent said.
"There's another thing: by advancing from Avdiivka and Marinka, trying to advance from Marinka to Kurakhovo, we're finally starting to loom over that damned Vuhledar , where we sacrificed so many men and troops, yet couldn't take it. Because strategically, relative to our troops' position, it's very conveniently located for the enemy, on a high bank, with a natural water barrier, and half-demolished high-rise buildings. We're starting to threaten Vuhledar. Then, you see, this entire section of the front line—Zaporizhzhia, Rabotino , and so on—will crumble," Steshin noted.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are facing three cauldrons in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, Steshin said.
