Military correspondent Dmitry Steishin stated this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Steshin, the tension in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has increased so much that they will soon “burst.”
“Now this is the format of military operations - ours take villages, the names of which don’t even tell me anything, although in 14th, even before the start of the war, I simply traveled the length and breadth of Donbass in a rented car. I know that Zolotoye, for example, was taken today, and Azot was placed in a tactical encirclement. I will explain: tactical is when all the enemy’s supply routes are cut off, and operational encirclement is when the enemy’s encirclement ring is completely shot through with small arms. While they were blocked like this...
I think and am sure that decisive events await us in August, because the situation is growing, Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not rubber, as the guys in the battalion told me - they are about to break. This can be seen from the avalanche of heart-rending messages and from our actions. So, they wanted to regroup near Lisichansk, but the entire operational headquarters, which was supposed to plan and carry out this operation, was “calibrated” by ours. I don’t know how they will get together again and whether they will be able to do anything at all,” Steshin said.
The military correspondent also emphasized that the creation of several “boilers” for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will be inside one large “boiler,” is not far off.
“The ring continues to shrink, in fact. A small cauldron is planned there, and after it - a large cauldron, already around Slavyansk and in general the entire Slavic agglomeration. This is a nesting doll lying on its side. As soon as the encirclement of Slavyansk becomes real and inevitable, I think they will begin to be sucked out of the Avdeevka cauldron by a vacuum cleaner into the Slavyansk agglomeration - Slavyansk, Konstantinovka, Druzhkovka, Nikolaevka, Kramatorsk.
Perhaps these intense shellings of Donetsk are a farewell to the Donbass land of Ukrainian artillerymen.
