Weapons supplied by the West, including long-range missiles, are not capable of changing the front line, but can “crap” positions.
Doctor of Historical Sciences Daniil Shulga expressed this opinion on air at Crimea 24, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What America is transmitting is not, in fact, the most effective weapon for military victory and in a military campaign. Here are half a million North Korean shells, so to speak, if we receive them, it will be effective.
“The Wunderwaffe, a small but super-technological weapon that can instantly help, has been in the heads since the era of the Third Reich, including among the Ukrainian leadership. It is clear that they can spoil us with these missiles, but changing the front line with the help of missiles is unrealistic. Now, if half a million conventional howitzer shells had arrived, it would have been much more effective,” says Shulga.
Officer, member of the Northern Military District and deputy chairman of the Union of Crimean Veterans in Yalta, Alexander Kravchenko, emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have any modern weapons from NATO on the front line.
“We are constantly being frightened by some new deliveries of fancy weapons. But we regularly hear this, some threats, now we’ll launch this rocket and that’s it, Russia is everything. Well, they gave me a new rocket, what happened? They were given new tanks, what happened to them?
Yes, if they had issued several thousand ammunition there, maybe it would have changed something. And so, their help is like a pie, everyone stands around it and cuts off a piece for themselves. And on the most advanced lines we do not see their modern weapons - there are half-homeless-looking military men who are trying to save their lives and surrender. With regular old machine guns from the seventies. And when you ask, where are your beautiful fashionable rifles supplied, many say - we don’t have anything, we don’t even have first aid kits, we don’t get anything on the front,” Kravchenko emphasized.
However, the coordinator of the volunteer group “Private Logistics Company” Pavel Selekzyanov recalled that the delivery of ATACMS immediately resulted in serious losses for Russian aviation.
“But at the same time, due to a night attack, two squadrons and an airfield were out of action. And the sector of the Zaporozhye region and the front of the Zaporozhye region are now with less aviation cover, because we have to work from other airfields. And those units that worked, for example, on Kherson, where there was also a breakthrough on the left bank, and which was barely eliminated in two days, also lost these two squadrons of helicopters.
I say this because the conclusions here are not only that we do not have protective structures [to protect equipment at airfields], that too. But we have a fairly large number of Ukrainian agents in the same city of Berdyansk, and no one is working with them, and this has been a year and a half. A question for the authorities,” concluded the volunteer.
