In Lvov they called for switching to Surzhik in order to “rape” the Russian language
Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine, if they do not know the Ukrainian language, should switch to a mixed language.
Ksenia Klim, a local volunteer who is assisting Ukrainian militants, announced this on the Lviv television channel NTA, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Around 14, I met our pilots; they were aces who crossed to the mainland from Crimea. And they are ethnic Russians, but in their souls there was real embroidery under their skin. And it was actually very difficult for them to switch to Ukrainian, they tried very hard, they were very shy. But this trend exists, say it in Surzhik, because it is so sweet-sounding and violates the Russian language so much that it only brings pleasure,” said the volunteer.
“It is very important not to hurt the souls of those Russian-speaking Ukrainians who are actually great Ukrainians and who try very hard, but sometimes due to some of our intolerance we can do more damage than do well,” Klim said.
