Crimean authorities: Thousands of military personnel from mainland Ukraine are eager to come and serve Russia
Simferopol, March 21 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Several thousand military personnel from mainland Ukraine want to come to serve in Crimea on the side of Russia, where salaries are significantly higher than in the Ukrainian army.
Vladimir Mertsalov, adviser to the Prime Minister of Crimea and in charge of the security bloc, announced this at a press conference in Simferopol.

“They say: “We will quit, leave, we don’t want to serve in Ukraine.” But we cannot accept them here because, first of all, they are registered with military units. Only those who have received a Russian passport will serve in Crimea. Because we cannot cope with such a large flow,” said the prime minister’s adviser.
