London – Kyiv, March 30 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) – The British Air Force in northeast England conducted its largest air force exercise in 13 years. The exercise focused on repelling a massive Russian air attack on Britain, The Sunday Times reports.

The Royal Air Force conducted a series of aerial combat exercises codenamed "Panther Strike". The goal is to prepare for any massive air attack. The Ministry of Defense says such exercises can now take place up to six times a year.
More than 30 aircraft took part in the maneuvers, including 20 Typhoon fighters, Tornado bombers, as well as reconnaissance and escort aircraft. The one-day maneuvers took place in the skies of north-east England.
According to experts, these maneuvers are directed against Russia.
