"In tough form!" – Matvienko decided to shame the European parliaments
Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko instructed her deputy Konstantin Kosachev to write letters to the parliaments of European countries that sent weapons to Ukraine.
She stated this at today’s meeting, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“You know, let’s do something else. Ask the Ministry of Defense which countries supplied weapons that were used to kill civilians at the hands of Ukrainians. Moreover, cluster munitions, which are prohibited by international conventions, were also used. And let's personally address these parliaments. We will write to the Czechs, who sent the Alder missiles, and to others and ask them to answer whether they know that the weapons their countries supply are killing civilians.
Write in strict form! They also bear responsibility for this, and not just the bankrupt leaders of these countries,” Matvienko said.
Today, the State Duma sent an appeal to the National Assembly of France, in which it shamed its former ally in the anti-Hitler coalition for sending mercenaries to Ukraine.
