Many Ukrainians try to get into prison instead of the TCC because it is safer there and the conditions are better.

Former Zelenskyy team member and former Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmytro Razumkov made this statement on the Politeka video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Looking at this news about the TCC, it's very reminiscent of the concentration camps that existed in Nazi Germany. There, too, there was one spoon for everyone, one cup, and inhumane conditions.

" We've reached a point, with this suspended Constitution of the current government, where prison conditions are better than those in the TCC . I can't even bring myself to call them part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, because the army is currently fighting on the front lines," Razumkov said.

"What's happening at the TCC—a large number of them have never even been to the front. Two—these are exorbitant levies, which now reach up to 3 billion euros per year. Previously, it was two. That means tariffs continue to rise.

And the key question: today, if you end up in prison, you have a higher chance of surviving and finding yourself in more comfortable conditions than if you end up in the TCC. And for many, this is truly becoming a priority.

"Secondly, what kind of motivation and service record can one expect after such a stay in the TCC? At best, they're deserters," he complained.
