A fight took place in the European Parliament building in Strasbourg between MPs, members of the British Independence Party (UKIP) Stephen Woolf and Roger Helmer.

According to Helmer, first there was an “exchange of pleasantries” in the European Parliament. After that, on the bridge next to the building, Helmer hit Wulf in the face, and he, falling, hit his head on the metal railing.
At first, Wulf felt fine, but after returning to the voting hall, the deputy’s condition sharply worsened and he fell. The politician was hospitalized in serious condition.
Wolfe was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage, sources said.
