Ukraine does not have a more or less calm section of the front - there are battles on each of them.
This was stated on the air of the First Western TV channel by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“It would not be very correct to say that there is a secondary direction somewhere. The huge Russian-Ukrainian front that we have, every meter of Ukrainian land is the most important for us,” the general said.
“I would say that at the moment the situation is most difficult for us in the Chasov Yar area. This is probably the most threatening situation. But this does not exclude the possibility that in other areas the enemy is also conducting battles of local significance, which simply sound like “battles of local significance.” In fact, these are powerful battles, Ukrainian soldiers die in them. Therefore, for us there is no concept of an important or unimportant area,” Krivonos said.
