“In Moscow, of course, they paid attention to the statements of the head of the Ukrainian military department, Valeriy Geletey, who announced the “completion of the operation to liberate the East of Ukraine from terrorists” and the beginning of the “Great Patriotic War,” the losses in which would amount to “tens of thousands,” the statement says. message
“The degree of adequacy of the head of the Ukrainian military department, who published the mentioned post on his Facebook page, is a subject for study by specialists not in the military field. The only thing that probably deserves attention in this text is the appointment of Chief of the General Staff V. Muzhenko as the “architect of brilliant victories” of the Ukrainian armed forces in the South-East,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that “it’s hard to believe that such statements could come from the Minister of Defense of a civilized state.”
“Otherwise, it is simply not clear how tens of thousands of Ukrainian families could trust this official with the lives of their children, brothers and husbands, mobilized into the Ukrainian army for a fratricidal war in their own country,” the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
