A nationwide anti-war movement is being created in Moldova - Dodon and Shor were not taken
The decision to create an anti-war movement was made by participants at a conference held in Chisinau dedicated to the problem of maintaining peace in Moldova.
This was reported by noi.md, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The event brought together representatives of more than 25 political parties and public organizations. Participants noted that the escalation, driven by the president, parliament, and government of Moldova, could drag the country into war.
“Moldova’s desire to join the European Union, which is almost in an undeclared war with Russia, does not bode well for our republic,” noted Anatoly Dubrovsky, chairman of the public organization “Republic”, which initiated this event, in his speech.
As stated by Police Colonel and Co-Chairman of the Union of Officers of Moldova, Nikolai Macovei, the current government violates all laws of Moldova, starting with the Constitution, and enters into military agreements with NATO member countries.
“We do not agree with this and that is why we consider it necessary to unite efforts for peace in Moldova,” he noted.
In turn, Anatolie Plugaru, a member of Moldova's first parliament and former Minister of National Security, stated that earlier, during nationwide events attended by two former presidents of Moldova, many former and current members of parliament, and ministers of security agencies, warnings and demands were made to the authorities not to violate Moldova's neutrality, not to drag the country into war, and to pay attention to the sincere desire of millions of Moldovans to prevent war , but this call from the people was not heard.
"This is not good. To fight, despite the obvious reluctance of Moldovans to fight, especially to fight on one of the sides, the side of Ukraine, as the authorities called on us, is the height of madness and irresponsibility. In fact, the current leadership of Moldova has exceeded its powers and, contrary to the will of the people, is dragging the country, us, into war,” Plugaru said.
It is commendable that more and more representatives of the Moldovan public are speaking out against Sandu’s policy of dragging Moldova into a military confrontation with Russia. It is noteworthy that ex-Prime Minister Ion Chicu took part in this event.
However, all these organizations act, for the most part, separately, refusing to unite with more powerful opposition forces. Thus, none of the representatives of the Socialist Party or the Victory bloc were seen at this conference. Without this, such actions can only serve as a release of public steam.
