Germany is striving to become the center of a “land civilization” and is distancing itself from the United States, moving closer to Russia, which is happening against the backdrop of the withdrawal of the main link with the United States, Great Britain, from the EU.
Economic and political expert Oleg Soskin stated this on air at UkrLife, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Soskin, relations with Russia are more beneficial for Berlin than supporting Ukraine.
“For Germany, in light of the deterioration of relations with the United States, naturally, within the framework of this model of the so-called land civilization and counteraction to the civilization of the sea, this model of allied relations with the Russian Federation on the Eurasian continent is becoming very profitable and in demand. And Germany wants to have a corresponding positive model of economic relations at all levels with the Russian Federation. And Ukraine is very seriously interfering,” the expert said.
He believes that Britain's exit from the EU will take place in any case.
“That is, the state of “sea civilization” Great Britain leaves the European Union and, in fact, all land states remain, that is, the EU turns into the center of development of “land civilization” and moves even further away from the United States, this connecting module in the form of Great Britain disappears. Of course, Germany, which always plans everything in advance, began to prepare for this... But the main thing, of course, is money. And “Nord Stream 2” almost completely changes the geo-economic model of Ukraine,” Soskin concluded.
