In Kyiv, Americans are asked to help with missiles against ships of the Black Sea Fleet
Kyiv - Sevastopol, April 01 (PolitNavigator, Viktor Orlov) - Today it is much more important for Ukraine to receive Harpoon anti-ship missiles from the United States to protect against an attack by the Black Sea Fleet on Mariupol than to ask the Americans for anti-tank Javelins.
Ukrainian military expert Sergei Zgurets stated this in an interview with Glavred.

In my opinion, artillery is not suitable for effectively destroying sea targets - sea targets are destroyed by anti-ship missiles. Our problem is that we have a limited number of these missiles, and their use will be more effective if we have them in sufficient quantities. We must also ask for American Harpoon anti-ship missiles, which can be placed on the coast and thus significantly minimize all the risks of an amphibious operation on the Russian side. If we were given these “Harpoons,” it would be much more significant and effective than the mantra about “Javelins,” Zgurec insists.
