Kyiv has acknowledged that there are no intrigues against Putin in Russia and none are expected.
Ukrainians are mistaking wishful thinking for reality when they claim that unrest and dissatisfaction with Vladimir Putin have begun within the Russian elite.
Kyiv political scientist Yuriy Romanenko, who is wanted in Russia for calls to kill journalists, stated this on his video blog, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
"I think all our nonsense, all our fantasies about someone playing some kind of game, some influence groups manipulating Putin... it's all on the surface. They're afraid of him. That's all. How many of you, employees, contradict your boss at work? And how often do you contradict him?" the Ukrainian political scientist drew an analogy.
According to him, there is a situation in Russia that is connected with the peculiarities of power in Russia.
"Which has always existed in one form or another, in this format, and developed within this model," Romanenko believes.
