In Kyiv they boasted about how they twisted the arms of farmers, forcing them to go against Crimea
In Kyiv they told how Kherson farmers were blackmailed into financing the construction of a dam on the North Crimean Canal.
The fugitive Crimean deputy prime minister and former acting deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Andriy Senchenko, stated this in an interview with the publication "Apostrophe," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "
According to the politician, in 2014, the Yatsenyuk government did not want to allocate money for this, so it had to be “shared” from Kherson businessmen.
“We determined the location for the dam and roughly calculated how much money would be needed for at least a temporary dam that would hold up for the first time. But the authorities, in particular Yatsenyuk, did not want to give money for this... To be honest, I had to twist the hands of the farmers of the Kherson region a little. They were distressed and offended, but in the end they agreed. We said that if they refuse, then we simply will not open the water at the main structure of the Kakhovka reservoir and you will also be left without water. As a result, they financed this venture together, and we built the dam,” Senchenko said.

Earlier, he recounted how, in violation of his official authority, he decided to cut off the water supply to Crimea.
According to Senchenko, a bribe of 20 million dollars was offered for its renewal .
Earlier, Ridus reported on the completion of construction of dams in the Kherson region, blocking the flow of water from the Dnieper to Crimea.
