As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday, mass clashes occurred at this location between protesters attempting to knock down the construction site fence and police officers . Some activists attempted to rescue their comrades by surrounding police buses and pelting the police vehicles with stones. The police officers were frequently subjected to obscene language, accusations of corruption, demands to go to the ATO zone in Donbas, and reminders that the detained activists "were standing on the Maidan."
Today, around 400 people gathered at the construction site for the "Klitschko. PNKh" protest . "Yesterday, they beat up patriots here. The Berkut officers who beat people were afraid to come today. People want to see green grass, not hidden kiosks. We don't represent any political force. We won't allow anything to be built. The developer has legal rights. He paid a bribe, and he has legal rights. We're really fed up with this law. If anyone wants to, they can go to the police or the prosecutor's office. In six months, we'll have concrete abominations standing here," declared one activist.
Nationalists in balaclavas demolished the fence, after which they set it on fire, calling it festive fireworks and shouting “Glory to the nation! Death to the enemies!"
“Come on, come on, get out of here,” they greeted the fire truck with shouts: some tried to overturn it.

As a reminder, Kyiv's press previously reported that current Mayor Vitali Klitschko is planning a large-scale redistribution of capital real estate , and that his entourage includes numerous lobbyists for construction companies.
