On Arsenalnaya Square in Kyiv, a monument to the rebel workers of the Arsenal plant with a machine gun on the pedestal was once again desecrated.

The star, which was framed by ears of corn, was knocked off the pedestal. They left the spikelets themselves. There was also a machine gun and a dedication inscription made in Russian.
The monument on the square in front of the Arsenalnaya metro station in Kyiv is dedicated to the fallen participants in the workers' uprising at the Arsenal plant against the Central Rada in January 1918.
Over the past hundred years, the monument has only been desecrated once. During the Great Patriotic War it was damaged by the Nazis. But after the war, the Soviet government restored it.
The street named after the January Uprising, also dedicated to the memory of participants in the uprising at the Arsenal plant, was renamed in honor of Hetman Mazepa during the reign of Yushchenko.
