According to him, crosses were painted with black paint on the doors and walls of the prayer room. They also left a brick at the door with an image of the Virgin Mary and Jesus taped to it.

“Someone is trying to pit people of different religions against each other... We would like the relevant authorities to investigate this, so that they do their job and this does not happen again,” Kolomiets said.

Police officers and the Security Service of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region inspected the scene of the incident.
