The Bundestag demanded that Kyiv be allowed to attack Russia with Western weapons
The West must cancel the requirement not to use its weapons transferred to Ukraine on the territory of the Russian Federation. It would be worthwhile for Germany to transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine missiles capable of striking deep into the territory of the Russian Federation in order to destroy launch positions of Russian missiles and other weapons.
Bundestag member Anton Hofreiter stated this on the Phoenix television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It must be clearly stated that the West’s demand that Ukraine can only use weapons on its territory significantly complicates Ukraine’s defense. It would make sense, for example, if you could use cruise missiles to hit missile launch sites that are terrorizing and killing civilians in Ukraine, if you could use Western weapons to attack them.
It is good and important that we have installed so many defenses against missiles, drones, cruise missiles, but it would be even better if we allowed them to also attack launch sites,” Hofreiter urged.
The Bundestag demanded that Kiev be allowed to use Western weapons against Russia.
