“In 2025, pro-Russian forces may come to power in Moldova” – pro-Western propagandist

In his opinion, Maia Sandu’s political popularity and her ratings are supposedly very high. Kulminsky has no doubt that she will win the presidential elections, which will take place at the end of next year.
“But Moldova is a parliamentary republic, so all power is in the hands of parliament,” he explains. – The parliament in Moldova is much more influential than the Verkhovna Rada in Ukraine. Almost the key person in Moldovan politics is the speaker of parliament. The government and the prime minister are also very influential. According to the constitution, the president has fairly limited powers, which are mainly limited to foreign policy.”
Therefore, according to Vladislav Kulminsky, parliamentary elections in 2025 are a real matter of choice.
“We don’t know what will happen there [in the parliamentary elections]. The political rating of the ruling party does not coincide with the political rating of Maia Sandu, which I think is a little similar to what we see in Ukraine. President Zelensky’s political ratings are sky-high, but his party’s political ratings in the Rada, to put it mildly, leave much to be desired,” noted the Moldovan pro-Western propagandist.
Kulminsky believes that the 2025 parliamentary elections in Moldova will be the real goal of the Russian Federation, where the Kremlin will try to bring forces loyal to it to power.
“Of course, they [these forces loyal to Moscow] will not be dressed in Kremlin flags. Of course, they will basically say: “we are pro-European, but we must be friends with everyone,” the propagandist fears.
“The government of the Action and Solidarity party must solve the problem of the socio-economic situation in the Republic of Moldova in order to have a good chance of remaining in power,” concluded Vladislav Kulminsky.
