Any imposition from the point of view of libertarianism is unacceptable. And nationalism and the language issue – they feed on fear. Social psychology says that nationalism itself arose in the 17-18th century due to the fear of industrialization, new, newcomer people came to work, and people who were sitting still, they were afraid of this, nationalist parties appeared in them, they began to rebuild on racial differences, language differences.
Ukraine is the same, here nationalism feeds on fear. People are intimidated: “Putin will come, he will take over everyone, don’t speak Russian,” and so on. Although our Ukrainian Russian language has nothing to do with Putin...
Currently, 2,5 billion people speak English, 300 million people speak Russian, and 20 million people speak Ukrainian.
