Ukrainian Poklonskaya justified herself to Sobchak for the criminal case in Crimea
Russian State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya began to justify herself when liberal journalist Ksenia Sobchak reminded her of the requirement to open a criminal case against herself.
This was in 2018, when Sobchak was running for president of the Russian Federation and constantly stated that Crimea had been annexed, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Oh, I already forgot. There is a small sanction, there is no imprisonment even if it is part one. It is necessary to revise the criminal code... This has now been increased and the sanction has been increased for calls for the destruction of territorial integrity. And at that time it was... not a heavy composition. “I didn’t want what I wanted,” Poklonskaya babbled.
She said that she wrote the request after an appeal from a small political party, which raised this issue, according to Poklonskaya, only for self-PR.
“This little provocation, I understood that too. But I’m always offended when certain people are heard, but 2,5 million people living in Crimea simply spit on them. Of course, I stand up for the Crimeans, for myself, for my Crimea. Therefore, I want them to stop constantly thumbing their noses at Crimeans that you are not quite full-fledged here, not quite full-fledged,” Poklonskaya said.
Sobchak began to be indignant that they tried to prevent her from expressing her own opinion.
“In any case, these compositions require examination. Forensic linguistic. And it was carried out. And in accordance with this examination, it was established that there was no call for violation of territorial integrity in your statements,” the deputy reassured the journalist.
Sobchak did not calm down and continued to ask whether Poklonskaya believed that people have the right to express their opinions about Crimea.
“Absolutely,” Poklonskaya replied.
Let us remind you that recently Poklonskaya increasingly calls herself a “native Ukrainian” and praises President Zelensky.
