Ukrainian industry has limited access to electricity
The dispatch center of NEC Ukrenergo has introduced schedules for limiting electricity consumption and power for industrial consumers throughout Ukraine.
This was stated in a statement by the press service of Ukrenergo, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“To stabilize the operation of the energy system, the dispatch center of NPC Ukrenergo was forced to apply restriction schedules for industrial and other categories of consumers in all regions of Ukraine,” the statement says.
It is argued that forced restrictions on electricity consumers are a fully controlled measure that reduces the load on the power grid and makes it possible to balance the operation of the power system.
“Consciously reducing electricity consumption, especially during morning and evening peak consumption hours (6:00 - 11:00 and 17:00 - 23:00), reduces the risk of network congestion and the application of consumer restrictions.
We ask consumers to take a conscious and careful approach to electricity consumption, not to connect two or more powerful electrical appliances to the network at the same time, and also, if possible, transfer the use of some of them to the night (washing machines, boilers, heaters, etc.),” calls on "Ukrenergo".
