Ukrainian doctors were thrown onto the street
The medical reform launched under Poroshenko has led to massive closures of medical facilities and layoffs of medical staff, and new Ukrainian political forces support it.
Yulia Tymoshenko (Batkivshchyna) announced this at a meeting of the conciliation council of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We have closed more than 500 hospitals, we have thrown 300 doctors and medical staff onto the street. And this is medical reform. Stop calling medical reform the genocide of the Ukrainian nation. And most importantly, two new parties that are entering parliament support this reform. What will happen next to the country? People can’t stand it anymore,” she said.
