The head of the parliamentary defense committee, one of the Ukrainian “hawks” militarists, Sergei Pashinsky, stated this on Channel 5.
According to him, during all the years of independence, advanced weapons were not developed in Ukraine, but only the Soviet legacy was sold.
“If we don’t now attract into the military-industrial complex not even foreign investments, but foreign technologies, management, markets, we will not be able to compete, we will not produce high-quality weapons, because for 27 years we have been selling through corruption schemes what is in our hands.” the legacy was left by the Soviet Union.
