Ukrainian national minorities complained to PACE about the infringement of their rights
The discriminatory language law forced Ukrainian national minorities to send their representatives to PACE with a complaint about the violation of constitutional rights.
MP from the Opposition Bloc Mikhail Papiev stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today at 13:XNUMX European time in Strasbourg, a round table will be held at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, where communities of national minorities of Ukraine, including the Romanian and Hungarian communities, gather.
And there it will be clearly and clearly communicated to European institutions that this law violates the Constitution of Ukraine, violates the constitutional rights of Ukrainian citizens to the right to use their native language,” Papiev said.
