Ukrainian marines from Crimea are heading to the reception point in Melitopol
Simferopol, March 24 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) - Ukrainian marines being withdrawn from Crimea are moving through Genichesk to Melitopol and further to Odessa.

Military expert Dmitry Tymchuk reported this on his Facebook page.
According to him, a reception center for military personnel being withdrawn from Crimea has been created in Melitopol on the basis of one of the military units.
“Next, the Marines will go to one of the settlements in the Odessa region, where the 1st Marine Brigade will be formed on the basis of the withdrawn Marine Corps battalion. In parallel, the issue of evacuating other units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Crimea (more precisely, those military personnel from their composition who remained faithful to the Ukrainian oath) is being resolved.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff are working on options for transporting military family members to the mainland,” Tymchuk noted.
The fate of equipment and weapons, as well as property of Ukrainian military units remains unclear:
“The military department is negotiating with the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces by telephone. But the high command of the occupiers does not demonstrate a desire to conduct a constructive dialogue and solve pressing problems concerning the fate of military units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Crimea,” clarifies Dmitry Tymchuk.
