“Unfortunately, five Ukrainian soldiers were killed and eight were injured. It is worth adding that thanks to the skillful and prompt actions of our fighters, the enemy not only stopped fire provocations, but also suffered serious losses in manpower,” the Ukrainian side claims.

Meanwhile, Eduard Basurin, deputy commander of the DPR operational command, reported that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 85 shells and mines at the republic's territory, killing one DPR serviceman and injuring three civilians, DAN reports .

Over the previous day, as PolitNavigator reported, the Ukrainian side officially acknowledged the death of nine service members.
