According to the agency's press service , 20 kg of plastic explosive in the shape of a bogatyr's head with detonators inside, a PM pistol, and an ID card of an employee of the "DPR Prosecutor General's Office" were seized from his home.
“It was established that a criminal with the call sign “Rem” took part in hostilities on the side of the separatists and headed a terrorist group that was subordinate to the militant Sarmat,” the SBU said in a statement.
In addition, the department claims that “Sarmat” sent “Rem” to Dnepropetrovsk with the task of carrying out 3 explosions - at a warehouse of fuels and lubricants in a military camp of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, at the Dnepropetrovsk Regional State Administration and along with a representative office in the city center.
“The prosecutor's office of the Dnepropetrovsk region has begun criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 258-3 and part 1 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the detainee. Investigative actions are ongoing,” the SBU noted.
