Ukraine threatens to stop the transit of Russian oil and impose sanctions against businesses from the Russian Federation
Kyiv, February 04 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Presidential Bloc of Petro Poroshenko will soon register in the Verkhovna Rada as an urgent draft law banning the transit of Russian oil and ammonia through the territory of Ukraine.
Deputy Yuri Solovey announced this from the rostrum of parliament.

“What else is needed to understand that only total pressure on the Russian Federation can stop aggression? What do we see on the shelves of our supermarkets? Total trade in Russian products. Russian oil and Russian ammonia flow through Ukraine, Russian citizens move in transit, banks and companies operate successfully,” he said.
“The UDAR parliamentary group of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction will in the coming days introduce a bill on the application of economic sanctions against Russia. In Ukraine, it is time to stop trade in Russian goods, except for critical imports. Russian carbohydrates such as oil and ammonia cannot be transited through the territory of Ukraine, except for critical imports needed by Ukraine. It is necessary to immediately introduce temporary administrations into Russian banks and control where the money goes. Every company in which Russian capital exceeds 50% must pay at least 10% military tax for the needs of the Ukrainian army,” Solovey clarified.
