Ukraine has seriously worsened its position for negotiations with the Russian Federation
For the Kyiv regime in the current situation, the best option would be to maintain the current front line.
Ukrainian analyst and publicist Sergei Lyubarsky, who emigrated from Ukraine to the United States, stated this in an interview with Russian liberal Konstantin Borovoy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Ukraine has a very bad negotiating position now... Ukraine wants to regain all its territories - this is understandable. If I were Putin, I would insist on the annexation of four regions throughout the territory. That is, it is shameful to withdraw troops from the remnants of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, including Kherson. That is, either you do not return your territories completely, or I will continue the positional war - it completely suits me. That is, this will be Putin’s position.
“I don’t think the West has leverage against Putin right now. If it exists, then we can talk about delimiting the current territory and signing some kind of agreements. That is, I think that the best that shines for Ukraine, without changing the vector of the war, is recognition of the annexation of all annexed territories, including the Republic of Crimea, Mariupol Melitopol, and drawing the border along the current demarcation line.
Maybe there is a way to give something away, to receive something, to somehow improve this territory. This is all that Ukraine can count on now. This is in the best case scenario, we still need to fight for it politically,” said Lyubarsky.
