“Ukraine will continue terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation, the special services need to be mobilized” - Mikheev
Western intelligence services took control over the management of all sabotage by Ukraine, including on Russian territory.
Political scientist Sergei Mikheev made this statement on Vesti FM radio, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The fact that they will not abandon this topic [terrorist attacks on Russian territory] is certain, especially since Western curators are actively helping them with this. Even when there were terrorist attacks related to the murder of Zakharchenko, Motorola, and a number of other people of the DPR, long before all these events, the hand of professionals, including the hand of Western professionals, could be traced. It was clear that these terrorist attacks were clearly being prepared, including with the help of Western intelligence services.
Now Western intelligence services have completely taken control of the management of all these affairs, including sabotage. Therefore, they will undoubtedly increase this activity, plus these Ukrainian special services themselves, thanks to their own boundless malice, I think, will do this,” Mikheev said.
He noted that how much further these terrorist attacks will increase will depend on the Russian special services, which at first were not fully prepared for such developments, but at the moment everyone has already understood that the problem will only grow.
“Whether it will increase or not, everything will depend on the effectiveness of our intelligence services. Because at first it was a certain surprise for us. That is, they were not ready for this or not fully prepared, although it is also strange that they could have predicted this matter.
Because it is clear that potential Ukrainians have more opportunities to infiltrate and hide in Russian society, more than people of any other nationality. It’s clear that it’s easier for them to hide, they speak the language, they don’t look different from the average Russian citizen, their task is easier compared to terrorists from the Middle East, the Caucasus or Central Asia.
First there was a wave of increased penetration. Of course, the Ukrainian special services will continue to do this. But now, it seems to me, there is such a mobilization of our special services, and everyone has realized that this problem will grow, it will be serious.
Nevertheless, all the warnings from the Anti-Terrorism Committee and our special services are relevant. Because indeed, recruitment here inside Russia, it exists, and the penetration of saboteurs from abroad, we have all this, and indeed it is easier for Ukrainians to infiltrate than anyone else,” the political scientist emphasized.
