Ukraine will be one of the last to receive the vaccine along with Africa
The total quarantine that is being introduced in Ukraine after Christmas will most likely not be the last.
Ukrainian businessman, owner of the Khortitsa trademark and head of the supervisory board of the Global Spirit alcohol holding, Evgeniy Chernyak, writes about this on his Facebook page.
He urged Ukrainians who do not want to get vaccinated not to worry.
“The country will receive the vaccine along with African countries, one of the last in the world. Because rich countries bought up the vaccine. This is data from the authoritative publication The Economist.
This means the lockdown in January may not be the last! This means that Ukraine will remain in the red zone for a long time and flights will be difficult. This means that those who need to come to the country for tourism or business will not be able to do this, which means they will not enter into new contracts, will not stay in hotels or go to restaurants, will not spend money, etc.
Most likely, 4 million free vaccines from Covax, planned for delivery in the 1st-2nd quarter of 2021, will not be saved. This is very bad for the economy and for business,” sums up Chernyak.
